Zadar, a city with 3000 years of history, represents a unique combination of ancient monuments, medieval architecture and contemporary art installations. Located on the Adriatic coast, Zadar was the capital of Dalmatia during the Roman period, which is visible in numerous archaeological finds like the Roman forum, the largest outside Italy.

Zadar's most famous attractions are modern: the Sea Organ, a unique architectural installation that creates music with sea waves and air, and Greeting to the Sun, a solar panel that creates a spectacular light show after sunset. The Zadar waterfront, which Alfred Hitchcock called 'the world's most beautiful sunset', offers unforgettable panoramas of islands and sunset.

The city is also known for its vibrant cultural scene, including the traditional Zadar Salad festival, The Garden music festival, and numerous classical and contemporary music concerts.
